Though starting indie, Curious Fate founder Jason Shields has been working in AAA game development for nearly 20 years, pimarily as a UI, Mission, and Level Designer on the Borderlands series. But Jason's indie spirit doesn't die so easily. His band The Capsules is preparing to release their sixth studio album. And most importantly, Jason keeps fueling his indie-heart by continuing the journey set out all those years ago - developing new and ambitious indie video games, including Bracer and Absolute Tactics: Daughters of Mercy. Jason is the designer and primary developer at Curious Fate, with help from a handful of friends and freelancers. |
Julie Shields is a professional voice actor, musician, singer and songwriter and has appeared in many games including World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location, Monster Hunter: Rise and Ghostrunner, to name a few. She also lends her wonderful voice to Absolute Tactics, as the disembodied voice in Huxley's head. Jason and Julie are also married.
